Carol Frank is a photographer and a painter illustrator specializing in botanical subjects and illustrations for children's books.
Her training as an artist, aside from private study, has been at The New York Botanical Garden in botanical illustration and The School of Visual Art in children's book illustrating.
All her images reflect a love of the natural world with portraits of trees, flowers, ocean waves, rivers and ponds. Also present is the play of light to create patterns and to convey a mood of mystery and wonder. In all her visual work there is a clear love and delight in color.
