The skills needed to fashion copper artfully can take years to perfect. Jude Ferencz's creations have grown out of both his experience as a tradesman in copper construction and his strong aesthetic sense, coupled with a willingness to experiment.
Relying on tin-snips, presses, casting tools and imagination, Ferencz captures the beauty of copper and of nature in his flowers and in the warm patina of his furniture and interior design work. Ferencz demonstrates he has an eye for subtle nuances of botany, depicting flowers in different states of bloom, and giving new meaning to the word "perennial".
His work has been exhibited in the Neuberger Museum of Art as well as in sculpture gardens across New York. He has also designed and crafted completely unique and aesthetically appealing copper applications, such as custom-made hanging wine glass racks and fireplace or kitchen mantle covers for upscale interior installations.
