Exhibitions Published in several journals including Maenad during the 1970s, I was an art editor for the arts and literary magazine in Boston. Exhibitions in Boston, Vermont, Rhode Island, New York City and Washington, D.C. My work is included in the Drawing Center, National Museum of Women in the Arts, and others. My current work includes three series of photographs and paintings called "Shelter Dogs", The Dogs of Elmsford Animal Shelter", and "Dogpark". I have been volunteering one day each week at an animal shelter and have been caring for older dogs. I photograph and paint the dogs as well as take them on "field trips" to my house, to see horses, and to swim in the Hudson. The dogs are in a "no kill" shelter and are there forever until they are adopted. I am interested in the way they communicate physically to each other and to me. I paint still life images around my home as well as pictures of dogs. On my website you can view giclee's for sale, note cards, posters for veterinarians and grooming shops and art tee shirts. I hope these paintings will stimulate interest in adopting my models!
