I was born in Rome (Italy) and lived in various parts of Europe, from Florence (Italy) to Valencia (Spain) and Paris (France) until 1968. Since 1969, I've lived in New York and particularly in Yonkers since 1977.
Formally trained as an art teacher with a diploma from Rome Academy of Fine Arts, I attended various schools in Paris and Florence, as well as NYU in New York City and SUNY Purchase (NY).
I have worked in a variety of media including watercolor, tempera, oil, woodblock, silkscreening, etching, lithography, bronze sculpture and assemblage. I have experienced a number of directions from abstract forms to expressionism, to classic, to figurative, to fantasy and to abstract expressionism.
I am creating constantly, since 1950, to the point that over one thousand of my works are scattered around the world in five continents, in private and public collections. My images are displayed and often marketed via thirty different websites in various countries.
