    ARTIST'S STATEMENT
I have drawn and painted all my life and it has provided me with much joy as well as being an expressive and creative outlet.
I have studied art at Brooklyn College, The Art Student's League, The Brooklyn Museum Art School, Hunter College Graduate School and in San Miguel de Allende in Mexico.
I paint mainly in oils and acrylics on wood and canvas, in both a realistic and abstract manner. My work has been shown in museums, including the Staten Island Museum, galleries and shows for which I have received a number of awards.
I taught art in junior High Schools for eight years and recently retired from practicing psychiatric social work. My greatest pleasure now is having enough time to paint.
I am a member of the Riverdale Art Association since its inception, the Garrison Art Center and the Art Student's League.
